Acute Care Pediatric Point of Care Ultrasound Fellowship

About The Program

The PEM POCUS Fellowship is a one-year program with WesternSonoKids running from July 1 to June 30, providing comprehensive training in clinical ultrasound and designed to cultivate research skills, educational mastery, and clinical excellence in pediatric emergency medicine.

 

We offer a rigorous curriculum that sits at the forefront of PEM POCUS specialty at London Health Sciences Centre. Applications are accepted until September with interviews occurring in October.

Our comprehensive elective program offers fellows and senior residents an immersive clinical experience. Trainees work directly with our expert POCUS faculty to gain exposure to ultrasound applications specific to pediatric care, balancing clinical responsibilities with structured educational sessions.

Educational Observership

Observership Experience

The PEM POCUS observership is designed for physicians in practice seeking focused exposure to WesternSonoKids' clinical workflows and applications. Participants observe ultrasound-guided clinical decision-making in real time and attend all academic activities, gaining insight into the integration of point-of-care ultrasound in a high-volume pediatric center.
